- What time is check-in and check-out?
- Check-in from 3pm; check-out by 11am. If you need alternative times, let us know — subject to availability.
- Are the rooms in the main pub building?
- Yes — all rooms are upstairs in the main pub building, recently refurbished (2025) and full of character.
- Do the rooms have baths or showers?
- Some rooms have a bath with overhead shower; others have a walk-in shower. Tell us your preference when booking and we'll do our best.
- What in-room amenities are included?
- Pocket-sprung mattresses, Egyptian cotton linen, hairdryer, iron & ironing board, radio/alarm clock, fresh towels, complimentary shower gel & shampoo, a tea & coffee tray, free Wi-Fi and a smart TV.
- Is breakfast included?
- Yes — a help-yourself continental breakfast is included for overnight guests. Cooked breakfast is available at weekends as an optional upgrade, and our weekend cooked breakfast is also open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 11am.
- Do you have Wi-Fi and TVs?
- Yes — free Wi-Fi throughout, and a smart TV in every room.
- Is parking available?
- Yes — there's a large car park at the rear of the pub. There's also a car park about 100 yards up the road that you can use.
- Are dogs welcome?
- Well-behaved dogs are welcome in selected rooms (small nightly supplement). Please book a dog-friendly room in advance. Dogs are welcome in the bar and on the terrace, but shouldn't be left unattended in rooms.
- How many people can a room sleep?
- Most rooms sleep two. Room 4 is our bijou double and is ideally suited to single occupancy. We have a limited number of travel cots available — please request in advance. (No rollaway beds.)
- What is your cancellation policy?
- Please see your booking confirmation for the specific policy applied to your rate.
- Do you serve food and drinks on site?
- Yes — downstairs you'll find seasonal menus, weekend cooked breakfast (open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays), open fires, a decked garden and a well-kept bar, including local beers (Firebird, Harvey's), Sussex ciders and a world wine list featuring bottles from our neighbours at Bolney Wine Estate.
- Are you near Bolney Wine Estate / Bolney Vineyard?
- Yes — Bolney Wine Estate (often searched as Bolney Vineyard) is in the same village, on Foxhole Lane. We're on The Street, opposite the church: a short hop if you're visiting for a tour or tasting and want lunch, supper or a room afterwards.
